GROUP CROSSFIT CLASSES
Group classes, also known as the WOD class, or “workout of the day”, is our most popular, award winning program. Anyone can put together a workout that makes you sweat but it takes a true understanding of the principals of strength and conditioning to be able to deliver results, month after month and year after year. This is where we excel and why we are so popular. Our top notch trainers will guide you through a 60 minute workout consisting of warm-up, skill, strength and conditioning exercises, in a motivating, controlled, and safe environment. Come make new friends! All skill and athletic abilities are welcome. To enter this class you must have either graduated our personal training program, WHCF Foundations, or have prior CrossFit experience. No experience? No problem. 12 WEEK TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM
If you’re looking to make a change, this program is without a doubt, our most successful program. Over the last 14 years we’ve learned exactly what it takes to change someone’s body and mind. This program takes a longterm approach to diet and exercise, providing continued accountability and direction. No fancy, unsustainable diets. We teach you how to eat and exercise for your body and your goals. You will be amazed at the results.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You will start the program with a goal assessment so we can learn everything about you and what you want to accomplish. From there, we take your body fat, measurements and a before picture because you’re going to be amazed at the end of 12 weeks when you look back at your progress.
During your first session we build out your plan, giving you specific direction and educating you on how to accomplish your goal in the most simplistic way. You’ll have one coach assigned to you for the entire 12 weeks. In the beginning we work with you one on one, teaching you how to exercise safely and eat correctly for your body. As you become more confident with movement and exercise we move you into our fun and exciting group classes. You’ll get 12 weeks of unlimited group classes. This is where people really begin to enjoy exercise. Your coach will provide weekly check-ins to make sure you’re attending classes, following your nutrition, and getting results.
Through the continued accountability and oversight you will not only start to see amazing results, but start building longterm habits. We have established the 12 program because this is the exact amount of time is takes to see results and build longterm sustainable habits that will last a lifetime.
FOUNDATIONS PROGRAM (FAST TRACK PROGRAM)
Whether you are brand new to CrossFit or an athlete looking to take your fitness to the next level, the CrossFit Foundations Program is designed to further your understanding of exercise, movement, and nutrition so that you can achieve your fitness goals in the safest and most efficient way possible.
The Foundations Program is open to all ages and fitness levels. The program consists of 5 personal training sessions and includes the rest of the month’s membership, from the day you start the program. During the program, your trainer will introduce you to the foundational principles and proper mechanics of weightlifting, gymnastics, calisthenics, nutrition, and mobility. These sessions will be completed one on one until you get the hang of things at which point we will start to integrate you into the regular group class. This way you’ll have the benefit of meeting our awesome members and getting comfortable with the class atmosphere, while having the attention and direction of your own personal coach. Completion of this program will have you ready for a safe and smooth transition into the group classes.
NUTRITION COACHING
Do you know the exact amount of protein, carbohydrates, fat or calories you need to eat a day in order to obtain your goals? If you don’t, then you’re just guessing on how to get there. We don’t like to guess. Guessing is often unsuccessful. Here at West Haven CrossFit we have what we believe to be the most successful nutrition program available. It’s simple to understand, non restrictive and delivers real, lasting results. This program is available to members or non members, either in-person or online. Just contact us to set up an appointment. Our trainers will take the time to discuss your goals, take measurements, body fat, and define the most direct path to reaching those goals.
PERSONAL TRAINING
We offer one on one, two on one, and small group sessions. Whether you’re looking for personalized instruction on weight-loss, muscle-gain, gymnastics, olympic lifting, or sports performance, our coaches are nationally recognized.
